About Ms. Behnam:
QHC's expert staff, comprised of International Travelers and good old-fashioned Southern Belles, is led by Culinary Artist Ms. Fatemeh ("Fati") Behnam. Ms. Behnam's love of cooking was born in her grandmother's kitchen. Every week, she would watch as the family matriarch prepared elaborate meals for her extended family, and she soon discovered that there is nothing more satisfying than pleasing a big, hungry crowd. After fleeing Iran in the wake of the revolution, Ms. Behnam lived and traveled throughout Europe, where she mastered the craft of cooking at a series of workshops and availed herself of every opporunity to learn local preparation and techniques.
A lifelong lover of fine cuisine, Ms. Behnam has been involved in the professional catering business for more than a decade. Formerly employed by Susan Gage, one of Washington DC's most prestigious caterers, Ms. Behnam has catered large events for numerous celebrities, philanthropists, and influential government officials including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former Vice President Dick Cheney. She counts the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, the National Building Museam, and the Corcoran Gallery of Art among her former venues.
Since moving to West Tennessee and forming her own company, Ms. Behnam has had the privilege of serving guests at some of the finest establishments and biggest events in the tri-county area. Her cherished clients include Bethel Univesity, the Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center, and numerous professional offices. Ms. Behnam remains humbled by the wonderful opportunities she has had to share her knowledge, skills, and expertise with her friends in America. If a special occasion is on your horizon, please remember that you are not a stranger -- just a friend we haven't met yet.
